Ruby’s News

My Ruby is pregnant! Per our agreement with her breeder – Victoria of Victory Acres in Woodstock, GA – Ruby was bred, very scientifically, in February and is expecting around April 27^th. We are very nervous parents, but excited about the litter. Ruby is quite a smart girl, so pretty, and utterly agreeable. Her pups are sure to be fine additions to the Great Dane tribe. We Love This Product!

One of Ruby’s many nicknames is “Stinky Mouse” – a loving derivative of stinky mouth. She’s a wonderful dog but sometimes, yikes!, her breath can be pretty bad. So I broughthome a new product a few days ago and I already swear by it. It’s called better breath for pets by Garden of Life. It’s an oral probiotic served up in just one tiny scoop on the food. April is Earth Month

Many companies will have events to celebrate Mother Earth and encourage good stewardship of our planet. Aveda is sponsoring many events called Walk for Water during Earth Day week of April 22. I’ll bet lots of dogs would love to join the fun. The Whole Foods site will feature 30 days of tips and fun in celebration. Whole Foods has lots of yummy pet products, too. I imagine your local natural foods store(s) will also have something going on – and if not, your inquiry might give them the idea! A quick online search will highlight some local options. That’s a Big Dog! donated a custom recycled collar to the Connecticut Baptist Homes Earth Month Dog Show.
At the very least, try to find a way to participate in Earth Month. The dogs all thank you in advance.
